Perhaps I should scrub my shower more often. ;)

Yee haw done for Thursday, better late than never! I did 20 minutes of weight lifting/sit-ups/squats etc... but before that I spent 10 minutes looking for a pony tail holder! You know you have dozens but can never find one when you need one! LOL

I did 1 hour pilates. This was with the teacher I don't like becuase I hurt my neck. Well i had to go becuase I have no time the rest of the week. Maybe I got stronger but her class was good!! I don't feel any pain... Yet but I really liked how she explained things.
So another 1 hour today can it go for today and one day last week. Thanks so much. :)

Must be the day to not be able to find things - my fav pair of exercise shorts are MIA. I'm hoping they are either behind the washer/dryer (DH will have to check there) or perhaps mixed up in one of the kids' drawers of pants. I'll search there after I pick them up from school in a minute. Gr...! Even when I am well organized things go missing sometimes, and the maddening thing is, occasionally the item never turns up. Things that make you go "hm"

I need a big ol' bandaid today! I went in for my annual exam, fasting for a blood draw. My doctor was delayed, so the blood draw was delayed. I have hypoglycemia, so fasting is really not good for me under the best of circumstances. When I finally did get to the blood draw, it went very, very badly. After a couple of futile attempts, I ended up fainting AND throwing up.

After that, I got to go to the dentist...

Glad to be home. Still very light headed and pale. It's official--I'm a WIMP! After two babies I thought I was over this kind of nonsense! Turns out I'm just a bigger baby now!

:( *hugs* Maybe they would let you have blood drawn first next time, then see the doctor? That way you could have a little snack from your purse. Anyway, a good friend of mine recently fainted with a blood draw too - not super unusual for her either, and she's also a mom. Sometimes you can make mind go over matter, and other times (hypoglycemia) the body just takes over and down you go.
Dentist?! Insult upon injury! ;) I hope that went better than the first appointment.

LOL - yeah, socks go missing too but that's "normal". The shorts are too big to have been "eaten" by the dryer, lol. Actually I found them in my son's pants drawer - hooray for kids putting away their own laundry (when told), but not hooray for realizing that one thing didn't quite match the others :giggle_bear:
The weirdest thing that went missing was my 9 x 13 glass pan complete with lid. We knew when we last took it out of the house, remembered washing it, and POOF! We asked around to other friends and family of places we'd been since then but were 99% sure we didn't take it there, and no one had it. It NEVER turned up. Very odd.
I did recently have a missing sock turn up. It was a super cute Gymboree sock with dog pawprints on it, that went missing the first or second time my youngest wore the pair. I kept the other b/c it was so darned cute, and with our mild winter, he didn't need boots until about a month ago. He told me the boots hurt his feet after he'd worn them a few days, and I just assumed they were too small. But he said only ONE hurt - yep, that sock had been in there this whole time, LOL!!!

Hello??? Remember me??? I am still alive. I'm fighting influenza and haven't worked out since Saturday! I don't feel horrible now, but I really have no energy to do ANYthing yet. It's frustrating!

Takes awhile to recover. Don't push too hard yet.

I hiked this afternoon, not on the beach but some trails in the state park. I was delightful. Maybe got a decent pic or two. Supposed to get icky again this weekend so was grateful for a nice afternoon when I could leave work early. Videos I'll do on bad days....good days you'll find me in my hiking boots tramping around somewhere.

Checking in for Wednesday...did a double workout-Taekwondo class and then Warrior X Fit Kickboxing.

And Thursday...just one...Warrior X Fit Kickboxing.

Looks like everyone is doing well-way to go shredders!

My best wishes for speedy recoveries to those not feeling well this week.

Thanks for the encouragement and hugs, gals. I got up and hit the bike this morning, but I'm still "off." I got really messed up yesterday with the blood draw: blood sugar off balance, meds off balance, AND I'm PMSing to boot! I just don't feel good at all! More medical tests next week--Ugghh!

Taiko class was cancelled for Sunday, so that means I'll have to do real exercise :(

Friday is done! I did CE push circuit 1 and was able to go up on the weights again. Its time for me to start considering different weights. I'm just about maxed out on the ones I have and even went a bit heavier than the modification ones on the workout this morning. Nice thing about all this exercise is I feel younger. I have more energy than I have had for the last 3 or 4 years. Oh, I still get tired and I don't recover from a hard day as fast as I used to, but I can do more than I've done in the last few years. Key to staying young.....eat right, exercise and don't smoke. Never had to deal with that last one, but the other two have been challenging. LOL. Its a gorgeous day out today, so I'm doing a few chores around the house then going out for a long hike this afternoon.

The little armband tracks the activity portion. (I added the words in PS) You can get one that synchs with a smart phone. My phone is smart, but not connected, so I got the one I synch with a USB cord. I write down what I eat during the day in a food journal and then add it in the BB online program at the end of the day. They have meal plans you can follow, but I do my own thing.

So, I guess the more you eat, the longer it takes to input the info. ;)

I did get in some good hiking this afternoon to Golden and Silver falls. There was one trail I didn't get to, it was starting to cloud up and I didn't want to be up on the rocks if it started raining, so I only got about an hour in. Second workout of the day, still making up for some missed ones earlier. Got some lovely photos too.

I have been bad about getting my workouts in. Too much running from practice to practice! I need to follow Biggest Loser's theme of "no excuses".

At least my eating has been good. :( I will be better this weekend & next week. Bryan is TDY for 15 days so I have no reason not to workout - I won't be running errands with him or just "hanging out" with my honey. LOL

Full day--I did get in some extra walking at school, but not enough to count. After school went for a tank of gas and got stuck with a van that wouldn't start. Sat for 2 hours before we got it towed to our mechanic. I will get a lot of walking in tomorrow at state solo/ensemble auditions with my kids and their friends. I'll wear the pedometer so it'll count.
