Conda, I know what you mean, I feel like I spend the majority of the day planning what to eat, eating or journaling what I ate!!!

I love the rubber band idea!
I haven't exercised yet this week so I feel bad because I signed up for the shred thread. I intend to, but I need to get it done in the morning because by afternoon I'm dragging. I think my exercise goal for this week will be twice and then next week three times and then four times the following week and then... you get the idea until I get to 6 days a week, but that will be something I track on the shred thread. I hope they are ok with that, but I think they will be.

Wendee, of course that will be fine. This is a time to be gentle with yourself. Actually, it sounds like a very good plan.

Wendee- I havn't excersiced much this week either only once so far. I have been really busy with just life and can't get the time to go.
So don't worry and just take it one day at a time.
As for me. I'm really bad at the water drinking I drank about 4 yesterday. I'm trying to drink 1 litre a day but I'ts going slow. I even added sliced lemon to make it better but I am just not thirsty. So I now have decided to drink water with my meals. Last night I put out a jug of ice cold water with dinner and that helped. Even the kids drank it!!

I went over my calorie target both Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday I still had a substantial calorie deficit because I worked out for over two hours total. Yesterday I still had a decent calorie deficit, but not as much as I like to have.
At least I tracked it all!

I think "the more I drink...the thirstier I get"... but seriously, some days it seems all I get done is drinking and running to the bathroom.........
Do you like cucumber? If so, put a few slices in your water...it's a nice refreshing change!

That's a good idea, Conda, and it does sound refreshing!

We had healthy homemade soup again last night - dh had a sandwich to go with his but I'm trying to stay away from the bread, so I didn't. All the veggies in my soup really fill me up and I like "dieting" using soup as a tool. I like to make it and I like eating it!
Conda, I love the idea of a cucumber slice in my water - great idea! I've been putting a slice of lemon in mine and even an orange slice.
I know what's been said about drinking very cold water, but really, it's the only way I can consume 8 glasses a day. That was mentioned on the Shred Thread some time ago - I've forgotten why it isn't good, but I do remember someone saying it's better to drink it room temp - maybe because cold would shock one's system?
However, these now 4 lbs. that I gained have left me feeling very, very fat! I notice it in my clothes and that really bugs me!
