Valentines Day is coming up fast, and I've been trying to come up with some ideas of something meaningful I could do for my husband. Are any of you doing anything with your digital stuff to create valentines for spouses or others? Are you willing to share your ideas. I'd sure love some!

Glad you posted this! Money is tight so I've been working on making a jar full of promises and little thank-you's for my dh! I've done all of the little promises on folded pieces of paper to be put into the jar - which I have not yet figured out how I'm going to decorate, but that's what I'm doing!

How about Exploding Boxes? I love these, and they even have a heart topper. What could be cooler? I think that's what I'm going to do for DD, maybe decorate it with some of her favorite photos and put some candies (Kisses maybe?) inside.

I'm actually making an exploding box right now for my mother's birthday. I didn't think of making it for the girls, too!

Oh, I have done little candy bags before. I made cute little bag toppers that said "Happy Valentine's Day from...." whichever child it was. I bought the valentine candy in bulk and used little 2x2-inch zip top bags to hold the candy and stapled the folded toppers to the top of the bag. My girls handed them out to their friends in high school, but they'd work for an easy (and inexpensive) elementary school valentine too. They go together pretty fast.

This little card went together really, really fast. The hardest part was choosing a collection. I actually made several different versions from the template. I'll print it at just under 6" and then put it in a square envelope. :)

I like the exploding box for DH. This would be a great excuse to try it out.

These are some good ideas. I always have the hardest time thinking of something my husband would like... so that's where I'm really struggling. I grew up in a house full of girls, and so I can always think of things for that, but when it comes to guys... sometimes I feel pretty clueless. LOL.

My sister's husband is generally one of those hard to buy for guys, but one year the kids made a book of coupons - like one car wash, one mown lawn, etc. He was so touched!

I plan to do something . . . bought those Pop-top templates and am thinking of filling them with little treats and love notes. Hopefully will make a few cards too!

Well, my Valentine's Jar didn't turn out as well as I had thought, so I might just give the "exploding boxes" a try now. It's getting close!

I'm making cards.

You can also wrap favorite candy bar(s) with decorative paper & add embellishments.

Great ideas. I have the exploding boxes but haven't used them yet.

Thanks for those links, Theresa - I may have to do something a little faster than what I would like to do or what I had been trying to do - Valentine's Day is upon us! I'm not quite ready! Time to hustle!

Here's my card for Rich - I glitzed and glammed it a bit after I printed it, but here's the digi-part!
