So......what's the difference between Lightroom and PSE? I've heard some people use both?

Lightroom is mostly just photo editing software and it can do some amazing things. You still need PSE or PS to do a layout. There are many Lightroom presets available, which make special effects and results to your photos super easy to obtain.
