I changed everything, again, this morning.

By "journaling block" do you mean a small paper background on which the journaling is written or do you mean a section of journaling that is in one contained area?

You just need to add some type of anything you can journal on and add your journaling to it. Does that help?

Oh I wanted to ask....what are masks considered? templates? they are decorative, so I don't know.

Hmmmm, I think of them as being embellishment templates. I'm guessing you could certainly use them if you want to...

Like valerietuff3, I did not see that coming.
Ok, I changed my design and am using a template. I'm liking the layout a WHOLE lot better now. It's journaled and embellished; now I'm off to check out some alphas. I hardly ever think to use them, so this will be fun. See you tomorrow!
