Thursday - 30 minute walk

It was a shorter walk than usual today for two reasons. I bought new walking shoes today and, although they were feeling pretty good, I didn't want to push it the first walk. Also, I was hearing thunder from storms to the south of us and I wasn't sure if they were heading our way. Turned out they didn't.

Thanks Cheri! I am LOVING it!! I think you are ready for either. TurboFire wiped me out today as hard as an Insanity workout. After a HIIT went straight into the Tone 30 using resistance bands. I was almost crying! lol
TurboFire and Insanity are both so awesome, I can't wait to do Insanity again but I don't want TF to ever end!! Isn't it weird how energy cycles like that? A month or two ago I was worn out and feeling ill, now I have boundless energy. I'm going to do everything I can to keep from crashing - careful diet, keep exercising daily, getting enough sleep, etc.


Wednesday I ended up doing a workout on my rest day because I've just been feeling pumped and I didn't want to waste the feeling, you know? Fire 45 & Stretch 10.
Thursday I did HIIT 15 & Tone 30. Wow..... :exercisebike:

Ugh, I usually like being right, but not when I think I'm getting sick. I did get some scrapping done, but that doesn't count for this chart. My bodybugg had the least calories burned in a day since I started using it.

I'm off to update the chart.

April, practicing self care is NOT being a slacker! Best to head the bug off at the pass if at all possible.

I did half hour on the exercise bike after supper. I believe I have 2 extra workouts built up to cover Wed. and Thursday.

All that rest must have paid off. (I went to bed after my last post and didn't get up until almost 9 am this morning.) I started feeling a bit better this afternoon and even went to the gym! I did an hour on the elliptical. I'm soooo happy to be feeling better.

I'm back! Eye is amazingly well (I love being able to see!) and my sinus headache torture is over (not sure if it was related to surgery/anesthesia or not, but it put me out of sorts.) Anyway, I got 20 minutes of aerobic activity at choir practice this afternoon. We ran through the 'dance' number enough times to count it. Not sure how sweaty/winded will work on Sunday when we do back-to-back services....

I went on a three mile walk today.. in the rain. It cleared up a few hours later, but I wasn't up to doing another walk. (Maybe I was just busy working on a few pages.)

Valerie - WTG! That's wonderful! I'm so glad you are enjoying your new bike and getting such good results already!

Monday - 1 hour plyometrics
Sunday - bike ride

For those who don't yet know, my husband was in a bicycle accident late Thursday evening (details here), so I was taking care of him and keeping boys away from him more than I was concentrating on my own health. He's feeling better and getting around more easily now. I'm hoping he'll let me be his unofficial physical therapist (along with Chalene and Tony;) when he's told to start up range of motion, etc. Right now his arm is in a sling, but he was able to move the shoulder just enough to get into the "typing" position for awhile. He's working from home today (and maybe all week).

I had planned to use my belly dance class on Sunday to make up for Friday, but it got cancelled and I didn't have enough energy to motivate myself to do anything else in the evening.
