I went on a walk (with my camera & macro lens) when it stopped raining this afternoon. I had intended to get to the gym after I took Cathrine to school (not something I usually do, but we didn't want to worry about two cars for the play tonight) but the gym parking lot was stacked two deep in some areas. Not a chance of getting a parking place. That is why I usually go in the evening. :)

Ok, time for an update!! I'm so sorry I have not been here every day to check in, it has been a busy month and I haven't been near my computer as much as before. Excuses, excuses, I know! ;)
Still loving TurboFire every ounce as much as I was before! Chalene always says you've got to find your "soul mate workout" and I guess I've found mine. It's not that it's easy, usually halfway through I'm pretty beat and I have to push through but the music makes me want to move, and dance, and I just have fun doing it. I actually LOOK FORWARD to my workouts! Some others I have done I wouldn't say I necessarily looked forward to them, I didn't dread them but I just got them done because I had to. In fact I have even started getting up early to do them instead of waiting until later in the day. That is HUGE for me!!!

I have no holes for the month so far! Here's how:

Friday I took Fire 45 to my BFF's house so she could try it. She got frustrated & gave up but I did it all + Stretch 10.
Saturday I accidentally went to Fit Club but there was no Fit Club!! Argh.. lol. So I ended up volunteering at Bountiful Baskets instead and unloaded the truck, so I got in a good 15 mins of heavy lifting. (I am not really counting that as my workout, read on) I had a whole bunch of stuff planned for the day so there was no way to fit in a workout.
Sunday I slept in & I lost my chance to use the tv so no workout. If you are keeping track that is two days of missing workouts, right?!
Monday I was ridiculously energized when I woke up so I did Saturday AND Sunday's workouts (Core 20, Stretch 40, and Fire 55 EZ). Two solid hours of workout before breakfast! (I couldn't believe I did it either, lol.)
Tuesday (today) I did Monday's planned workout, Fire 45 + Stretch 10 and then Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit at Fit Club in the evening. A double whammy! So I think I even have 3 extra workouts this month and no rest days!! I feel awesome. :)

I did a 25 minute workout last night (Tues) and forgot to post it. We're off on a 2 day road trip shortly so will probably need one of my banked workouts.

I did 1 hour Hatha yesterday ( WED) . I'm so sore. Who thought taking two weeks off I would be this sore!! Today I'm taking a day off to clean. Does speed cleaning count?? ;)

My CardioTrainer app has "house cleaning" as an exercise option, so yes, it counts!

I'm a bit behind catching up. This week wasn't busy enough so the Community Foundation called us Monday to ask our help to set up a Wednesday surprise for DS winning that Lilly Scholarship! Here's how I remember the workouts not happening...

Monday--did 20+ minutes of dance at church for Easter.
Tuesday/Wednesday--nothing.
Thursday--I'll check in later, but scheduled to do that Easter dance number a few times tonight.

Thursday done--cardio Easter dancing for 20 minutes. On the last run the CD quit. Someone in the cast started singing the song so we finished it while singing AND dancing. Extra cardio!

I got 22 minutes on the exercise bike in this AM.

Valerie, this too shall pass. This just means you're normal, not perfect. If you were perfect, there would be no more lessons to learn, and no reason to keep living. Just try to go with the flow. :)
