Becca, that was an awesome LO. A friend of mine from years ago, before digital scrapbooking, used to write on the calendar one thing that happened each day. She said it was the best she could do for keeping a journal, but at least she had something to refer back to over the years. I never did pick up the habit myself, but as of recently I've been wishing I had. Especially as I fill out all of my boys paperwork to enter school and they keep asking when each of them accomplished certain milestones, sadly I have no idea. You calendar LO would be a fun way to keep a quick journal so I don't forget anything else over the years! Thank you.

Thanks, Nica!

I've used calendars to keep track of my children's first year milestones, too... I bought a "fillable" calendar to start using in the month they were born, and instead of a baby book, I filled out their firsts in that calendar. It was so much easier than digging a baby book out each time because the calendar hung in the nursery.

This workout journal of mine is much along the same idea. And it only takes me but a moment to fill in what I did for the day, especially since I keep a pretty regular workout schedule. :)

This is just the best, Becca! I have struggled with the right tool for tracking, and this is definately something that I want to try. What a great way to track your progress, and to reflect upon the ups and downs of the month. I love the monthly photo and notes!

Way to go, Becca! You are looking svelte! All the hard work is definitely paying off! The calendar is a great way to track it. I may just scraplift your idea! Thanks for the article!

Great idea, Becca - I wish I had done this years ago! And by the way, you are looking awesome! WTG, girlfriend!
