Over the last few months I have been on the mb more and have noticed how powerful the Scrap Girls prayer threads are. I would like to ask for your prayers for a young lineman who works for the same electric company where my daughter works. In November, he was electrocuted in an on-the-job accident replacing an electric pole that was knocked down by a drunk driver. He has been making very slow progress in his treatment for his serious brain injury. He recognizes his wife, his parents, and his co-workers, but still has so far to go. Two weeks ago his wife gave birth to their son. I have never met this young man, but my heart aches for him and his family. Please keep this young family in your prayers. Thank you.

I have attached touching pictures of the front and back of t-shirts that were printed for a recent fund raiser. The lineman photo reads “WITH STRENGTH & LOVE TO PULL US OUT OF ANYTHING”. I hope I posted them correctly.Attached File  DSCF3839 copySG.jpg (38.21K)

May angels of strength and healing guide him through his recovery, and may angels of wisdom and healing guide his medical care team.

We have a lineman in our family. It's important but sometimes dangerous work.

A Prayer for Lineman
Dear Lord,
We come to you with grateful hearts for those who are dedicated to serving their fellow man.
To those who show their love for you by risking their lives to do whatever they can.
A lineman is taken for granted until a convenience we must do without.
They work until the job is done, of this there’s never a doubt.
Please, Dear Lord, watch over them and protect them with Your Almighty Hand.
Return them to their homes with blessing for their families and help them to understand that a lineman’s time is not his own and a schedule not one he chose for the day, but a service that you have instilled in him as you guide him in your kind and loving way.
Amen
(from powerlineman.com)

And Lord, I ask for special blessings and healing for this young lineman and his family.

I want to update you on Eric's condition. After a rough weekend, Eric is showing improvement. His pneumonia has cleared up and he is breathing on his own. The fever is gone and he had a good day yesterday. Yesterday he resumed his therapy and was able to spell out his wife’s name. Every little bit of progress is encouraging. Please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers. Thanks. Kathy

Up until now, I have been relying on information from my daughter to keep up with Eric’s progress. Today she gave me the link below to follow it on my own. I have been reading his wife’s journal and am so amazed at the strength of this young woman. After so much time has passed without many answers, she has an incredible amount of hope. I want to thank you for your prayers and ask that you continue to pray for Eric and his family.
