I keep seeing in the newsletter some beautiful artwork placed on a mug. It looks like a ceramic mug, like today's beautiful freebie 3/30/12. Is there a way to attach a printable to a ceramic mug? Would it be washable by hand only or by dishwasher?

Patti I know that the artwork can be uploaded to a place like snapfish, shutterfly, walmart or even CVS and then made professionally into a mug. I'm sure other sites/places have photo gift options also.
From my understanding, if it is for your own use, you don't need a commercial license. I'm sorry - but don't know how it could be done at home, but maybe someone else will come along.
Other than that, you can PM the designer (I think it was Durin Eberhardt - DEB) to ask how she made the sample.
Good luck and I hope this helps a bit for now! :)

Actually, the sample is merely a marketing graphic to show some of the things you can do with the printable artwork. Online sources, like the ones listed by Mari, would be able to print on many items, including mugs. There are probably printers in your area who could do the same, if you'd like to keep the business local. :)

Thank you both for the quick reply. I'll check out the ones MariJ listed.
