William (3) was so cute on Friday - while his brothers were at school, he helped hand Jeff his water and other things from the endtable next to his recliner, as it was still very painful to move at all then.
It's a beautiful day here today, and Jeff has been outside on the glider a lot in the backyard. They have done studies that patients who can see trees and nature heal faster, so that sounds like a great place for him to me:)
Our local friends have been helping with the big boys -- Michael (6) had his first sleepover Friday night. His best friend lives 3 doors down from us and they have 3 boys and a dog just like us. They kept him through lunch yesterday and then he had a birthday party to go to for 4 (those parents are insane, lol) hours in the afternoon yesterday. Christopher was invited to a friend's house yesterday afternoon as well, so we've had lots of time with just Jeff, William, and me.

oh goodness, Cheri, I just saw this now... so glad Jeff is doing ok and hopefully will see the doc on wednesday, and how good is he that he wears his helmet each and every time he rides. we don't let the kids go out without theirs, or ours.
wishing him a quick and easy recovery and that he doesn't drive you too nuts whilst at home.
hope you got some new shirts as well

Oh Cheri I'm so sorry to hear this. I worry about my husband riding his bike all the time, and wish he was a little bit more religious in wearing his helmet. I need to let him know what happened to your husband. An accident does not always entail a car either! I'm so glad that he was ok though. I can't imagine what you thought and felt when the policeman came to your door. So glad it wasn't more serious! keep us updated.

Whoa! That was quite a close call! Although serious, i'm so happy he didn't have any boo boos on the top 1/3!
Prayers for a speedy recovery with no complications.

Oh my! Cheri! I can only imagine what that moment with the police at the door was like for you. I'm so sorry for you and your husband. Thank you Lord for keeping Jeff safe from more serious injury. Have that helmet mounted as a relic of angel wings!
