Help
My sister, Bonnie, passed away last night. She had a developmental disability and was just a very loving person. She loved being around her family and friends. We were all there when they took her off of life support last night and it was very emotional. Thank you for your prayers.

I am so sorry Karen. I am glad you could all be there with her.
A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was,the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child....

Oh Karen, I am so sorry to hear this. It really is so hard to go through but such a blessing to be there. I'm sure she felt the love of all of you. Hugs, & my prayers are with you & your family.

It sounds like your sister has a special a spot in your hearts. I'm so happy that you got to be with her as she passed. So sorry for your loss.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. She was a very special person. She loved almost everyone she ever met. She had the classic characteristics of William's Syndrome, but was never diagnosed by a doctor. This made her mildly mentally retarded but was the most cheerful person I ever met. She was so scared of hospitals we couldn't have her hooked up to life support and in a nursing home for the rest of her life just because we were selfish. Thanks for letting me vent.
