Help
Please add my Mum and step father to your prayer list. My father died of cancer after my mum and dad were married 25yrs and now John my Mums partner of 26yrs has prostate cancer. He has been on medication for years and has been doing so well but the last 8weeks has been feeling really ill.
My mother is fabulous at coping and I know when she says John is really sick he really is.
I have a holiday planned in May to go back for a month but I really dont think it will be too much of a holiday but thats fine as I'm only going back to see them and my DD anyway.
Could you please pray that John will be ok by the time i get home as its another 3 weeks before my flight. Pray for my mother as well that she will continue to cope as she has health issues as well. My brother is home as well now so thankful for that but will be returning to Latvia soon.

Sorry to hear about John and prayed that he will be feeling better for your visit.
I know it must be hard being away and feeling helpless, I am just 8 hr drive from my 82yo mom and know its hard enough being just that far. Have a safe trip and I can only imagine how happy you must be making them by visiting them!

It seems so unfair when they have already lost a spouse to cancer. My dad lost 2 wives to breast cancer, and it was harder the second time.

oh Jane, wishing your family health, comfort and joy at seeing you and your brother soon.
praying for your mum and step dad, I have in-laws who live in England and they are, God willing, celebrating their 80th birthdays in a few months and we are just hoping that they stay as amazing as they have been up until now.
it is really hard living so far away from them.
