We're thinking about maybe sort of house hunting and we're talking about possibly maybe kinda looking in Connecticut.

We're NYers, Westchesterites. Taxes are RIDICULOUS. Like, $18,000 on a 1940's 3-bedroom, one and a half bath on .15 acres. We're looking elsewhere.

We need to be in the under-30 minutes to White Plains area.

We want a nice, well maintained neighborhood, great schools, a decent-sized middle class suburban home with a backyard.

Anyone got any advice for me?

WOW, I can't get over the taxes...$18,000!

We live between Baltimore and Wash DC...I guess I won't ever complain about our taxes again!
