Could Use Some Prayers for my Sister in Law's mom

We got the call tonight that my SIL to be's mom is terminally ill and has about 3 weeks left to live. We now need to try and plan a wedding for my brother and his fiance that will hopefully take place next weekend her mom will be able to see her youngest daughter be married. To top it all off tomorrow is my brothers fiance's birthday.

It's going to be a stressful few weeks

First of all, I'm so very sorry to hear of your impending loss. Second, it has always seemed to me that when you have a task to get done, you always manage to get it done in the time allowed. If you have 6 months, it takes six months. You have a week, so you will get it done in a week. Skip the frills, just settle for the basics. They will be just as married and will remember the day more fondly. Bless you all.

Not an easy situation. A Happy Wedding day will be tinged with some sadness.
Praying that all the plans will go well.
Praying that maybe a miracle will happen concerning the diagnosis and if not, that she will be extra well for the wedding day.

Thanks everyone...

A little update: We are managing to get the wedding planned, we are running to a snag with my SIL's sister and mom, every time we have something confirmed with the bride she talks to her sister and mom and we end up having to change something. That is hard to do when you are planning a wedding in under 10 days.

As the wedding approaches I get more stressed, I can't help thinking about how this happy occasion is going to be marked by such sadness. The brides mom isn't doing well and at this point everyone is just praying that she makes it to Saturday and has her wish of seeing her youngest daughter wed.

Thanks everyone, the wedding was great for being put together in 10 days, and her mom did really well and manged to stay until about 10:30pm. Her mom is still doing good and still holding on which is also good because I was worried she would go too close to the wedding date. Now it is just a waiting game.
