Elisha
Sargent Pepper's LONELY Hearts Club Band - The Beatles That song title got me thinking about one of my favorite jingles: I'm a Pepper, he's a Pepper, She's a Pepper, we're a Pepper, Wouldn't you like to be a Pepper, too? Be a Pepper. Drink Dr Pepper. I have no idea who wrote it, but I remember David Naughton in it, who later appeared in An American Werewolf in London. So I say: Be a PEPPER

AnnBK
CRY me a River...interesting history on this one. Written for Ella Fitzgerald to sing in the movie Pete Kelley's Blues, but the song was dropped from the movie. The most recognizable recorded version was performed by Julie London, released in 1955.
