Help
Just an update on our Betsy - she is not doing well - she's in alot of pain and has to go back for more tests - She sounds so down and my heart goes out to her - will try and keep you all posted as as I can. Bless her heart - this should have all been over and down with by now so let's once again join hands and send those powerful SG prayers to her.

I am thinking it is refered pain from the radio and possibly pain she hasn't even noticed yet making her hunch over and causing more pain.... but the drs will scan everything to be sure... it does get better with time but it really kills for the first few months... My thoughts are with her still... Who would think there would be so much fallout from what 'sounds' like such an easy treatment "just lay there and we will shine this on you for just a min"??... Her skin will all be new and so tender and every bone and cell will ache... Hang in there Betsy, we all love you!!!

Best wishes, Betsey! I hope Jody is correct and this is all just a (very painful) part of the treatment which will lead to good things in the future. Meanwhile, my prayers that you will come through this quickly and in much improved health.

Hang in there Betsy. You are still in my thoughts and prayers. My friend across the road from us finished his chemo 3 weeks ago. He also was quite bad when he finished and even ended up in hospital again because he was so weak. But he is getting stronger and better each day. I know this treatment takes a terrible toll on one's body and I cannot imagine how you feel, just know that you have lots of people praying for you.

Good News! I just spoke with Betsy on the phone and she sounds wonderful! She's out of pain for the most part and is her usual happy self
It was wonderful to talk with her and I only had a minute cause Rich was waiting for me to do something with him, but I'm going to call her back later this afternoon. We can talk for hours! She's such a bubbly happy gal these days! Just like she was before all of these health issues.
Just wanted to share the good news and I think I've already said that she is CANCER FREE!!!!!!
