I bought SNU_SSTypePaths-FlourishSwirls and placed it in my layout. The SG-Instructions state to triple click (Using the Text Tool) the type path in order to highlight and type but this does not work for me. The type path is highlighted in my layers pallet, I have triple clicked with the text tool and without but it does not cause the type path to be lighlighted. I am using PSE10 Win7. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use PSE,(maybe I should download the trial and play with it so I could be more help) but in photoshop you double click on the "T" thumbnail in the layers panel to activate the text layer.

Hi Cheryll,
I responded to you in the monthly forum game thread. Did you see it? Let me know if that worked!

Thanks for pointing me there, I had not seen your thread. I tried that too but it only selects the object from corner to corner as it I wish to relocate it vs highlighting the text for me to type over. I have sent a message to Syndee to see if she can redirect me somehow or let me know if it does not work with PSE10. Thanks.

When I select the "T text tool" it will display its own text box for me to type in the layout, not work with the type path that is already there and highlighted in the layers panel. I have messaged Syndee to see if she can help. Thank you for your suggestion.

I don't click on the toolbar; I double click on the text layer thumbnail in the layers panel - on the right. That activates the text in that layer. I don't need the text tool active to do it. Try it and see if it works in PSE. Here is a little screen shot of what I'm talking about.

Syndee solved this for me. What I was doing was starting a blank layout and placing the TypePath in my new file, then trying all the steps above to no avail. Syndee suggested that rather than start a new layout, just open the typepath from the file itself - that worked for me. It opened up ready to edit. I will then separately save the altered typepath then place it in my layout. Thanks Syndee.
