Just popping in to make sure that you guys know something critical. The FBI has been working to let everyone know that on November 8th, some criminals were arrested and it was discovered that they were behind some serious malware that has infected a lot of computers. The International Internet Consortium has received a court order that if any computers have this malware on them, they will not be able to access the Internet on Monday, July 9th.

ISPs have been trying to alert their customers in time. For example - Comcast has been trying to contact people will infected computers by email and even through snail mail to tell them what to do.

The government has set up a website that will allow you to quickly check your computer. It also tells you what to do if you are infected.

This is a real thing, guys. You can read about it all over the place - on real news sites. They are talking about it on TV - trying to get the word out. Don't assume that you are okay. It took me about 10 seconds to find out that my computer is okay. I'm now checking every computer we have in the house - just in case.

Well, my computers all check out ok - I was kind of worried that this is what affected my hard drive when it died but talked to the techs awhile ago and they said that wasn't the issue - I do so appreciate you letting us know, Ro.

Well, all is okay here - I worried about this last night as I was trying to go to sleep even though I had run the test on our computers. I was so afraid that it would get me anyway!
