Prayers For Lori Cook Her father passed away

Please send your good thoughts to Lori Cook and her family (one of our designers). Her father passed away this week. Lori has been his caretaker for many years.

Prayers for Lori and her family as they go through this difficult time and learn to live without him. We're never ready to say goodbye to our parents. I still often feel that mine are a phone call away . . .

Many prayers for you Lori, as you deal with your grief. I know you've worked hard for years taking good care of your dad and I'm sure you feel lost without him. I remember some of your beautiful and poignant journaling about him on layouts.

I'm sorry to hear of your father's death, Lori, although I know he'd had some tough times these last few years. Your layouts spoke of your love and concern. I hope his passing was a peaceful release, and that you are able to enjoy many happy memories.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and prayers. My father was 91, had no disease or pain, he died at home while I was holding his hand and stroking his head....that's the way most of us want to go, isn't it? It was a nice peaceful ascension. I'm doing good. Thanks again,

So sorry for your loss, Lori, but I'm glad that the experience was peaceful. I was there when my father passed away and it has been a comfort to know he was surrounded by those he loved.
