CRS Posted July 28, 2012 Share Posted July 28, 2012 8:00pm EDT - 60m (minutes) Hurdle Speed Scrap Challenge Join Carla (CRS) and April (April Showers) for a 60m (minute) Hurdle Speed Scrap at 8pm EDT! We'll give you "hurdles" to add to your layout and you will have 1 hour to finish after the last "hurdle" is crossed! On Your Mark, Get Set, Go! If you have chat room problems or just need to catch up, I'll be posting the hurdles as they are announced in the thread here. We will pick a random winner from all the layouts posted in the gallery before 10 pm et! And the prize....a Collection Mini! It's time for the 60 m (minute) hurdles! Racers, to your lanes! On your mark, get set.....GO! And they are off! They are approaching the first hurdle! Hurdle #1-Choose your photos. Any number, any subject! Add at least 1 frame to your photo(s)! Save your layouts! Everyone made it! Closing in on Hurdle #2- What colors are in your country's flag? Use one of those colors as a background paper. It can be any shade or tint of the color, not necessarily the exact color on the flag. Save your layouts! We're reaching the half way point of the race! It's still anyone's race to win! It's a tight race! Hurdle #3 is next- Add 5 more embellishments to your layout, and at least one of those must be a color from your country's flag. Save your layouts! Hurdle #4-Time for a title! How many letters are in your first name? That's how many words your title will have! Save your layouts! It's neck and neck! Hurdle #5- Use the number 5 in your journaling somehow. You can use 5 words, 5 sentences or the number 5 in the body of the journaling! Save your layouts! Hurdle #6- You can see the finish line from here! Oh, wow! You jumped that hurdle with style! Use a style on your layout, something other than a shadow style. Save your layouts! Hurdle #7- You did it! The sun is setting on this race! Add your shadows and finishing touches to your layouts and post them in the gallery! Then go grab some Gatorade! You deserve it! Congratulations on a fine race!
