Hi, education-oriented friends!
Debbie has given me the go-ahead to start asking SG'ers for new ideas on products that could be developed for a homeschool/education category!
Let's do a BRAIN DUMP here and start posting the kinds of products we could use in our teaching environments, no matter where that might happen - the public or private school classroom, the home environment, Sunday School, children's after-school clubs, etc.
For instance, DS will work on a paper on Titanic. I looked up "cruise" and found very little. Soooo... some nice big ship artwork would be handy-dandy. Vintage ships, vintage flags, etc.
I'd also LOVE to see a collection on state flowers.
Okay... it's your turn!
Cindy

Cindy (and Debbie), what a fantastic thread! As things start to appear in the boutique, please let us know when we would need to purchase commercial licenses. For instance, I work for a church, so, if the church purchases items for me to use, but doesn't sell anything, is it commercial?
So, ideas: Our church would like to have our education program revolve around Flight. The pastor is a pilot, so obviously Airplanes, but Hot Air Balloons and Rockets have come up as well. The tough part, we'd like to carry the theme from the nursery through the youth (maybe the adults). I was looking at some of Shalae Tippetts stuff, but would love to see more and at a variety of age levels.

Perfect, Nica! This is exactly what I am hoping to hear from SG'ers!
You make an excellent point about whether it would need to be commercial or not. I'll have to check on that. If it's used in a group-learning environment, rather than a homeschool, per se, then that's something we need to make sure is clear in our TOU.
Love the theme your church likes to carry out - very creative!
Thanks for contributing your ideas!
