Changing The Routine

For months I've walked by the church right around the corner from our house and never knew anything about it other than they have a mission that feeds the homeless a couple times a week. It was really hot this morning and I didn't feel like trucking all the way into town to go to the church I would normally go to but the 50 steps around the corner seemed pretty doable. It was great to meet this little community which totally reminded me of the church my grandparents took me to in Marlinton WV whenever I would visit. Now I know my neighbors better and had a nice nostalgic moment as result of varying a routine. What a good surprise!
