i'm having problems saving a PSD file as a PNG. i don't ever remember this happening before. there's only about 6 options in the drop-down, compared to the usual selection.when i save it as a JPG, and open that file, i still can't save it as a PNG. so weird. i opened another file and had no problem with that one, so i'm thinking it's definitely the file. this is a file that i had to recreate because i inadvertently saved it as a merged PSD before.

Dianne - may I suggest checking the colour mode you are working in. I know if I am not in RGB I am unable to save as a PNG file and you mentioned you thought it may just be this particular file. I'm not sure if that helps any.
