OK, I have a new document and 3 photos. Actually, I have more than 3 but am not sure I want to use all of them on one page.

I'm not clear on whether we are already supposed to have created a layout with background papers etc. Step 1 was to create a "layout,", not to open a new document and place 3 or more photos on it.

???

You are building the layout with each step - so the new document (a "blank layout") with 3 photos is the start of your layout.

Week 4, Step 3 - Add as many papers as you'd like to use in your page.

REQUIREMENT: Upload your layout thus far as an attachment to your post in this thread. (See Week One, step 4 if you need instructions on how to do this.)

OK today's step completed. I have 2 papers Brandy Hackman's gorgeous buttered dots from Sweet Street Grunge Collection and Brandy Murry's lined paper from Shabby Bakery.

I have used a clipping mask to reveal some of the lined paper for journaling - hope I'm allowed to increase/decrease this reveal later in the challenge if I havent got it quite right.

So far -

Supplies used so far: SG Autumn Collection Biggie -- Papers-ABR Stacked, ASO Leaves

I changed one photo to Sepia using PSE10 Sepia Tone Style

The photos were taken at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow New York, where Washington Irving author of 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' is buried.

Ok so I am not sure on my papers - perhaps I'll change them around or something.... but here is mine so far. Oh, and I applies a filter to the photo of the sign.

Technology disaster struck on Sunday and I have had to get a new computer. So I've spent the majority of the last 2-3 days reinstalling software. Thank goodness for backups. But I'm running behind on this week's challenge! Hoping I can catch up by tomorrow...I think I have most everything back up and running software-wise. On the positive side, my new machine is nice and fast and has a bigger screen, so all is not bad.

Week 4, Step 3 complete.

Two photos have the Photoshop Color Fade Vertical style applied.

Used 3 papers and 2 blender templates. I used a LO template so I will change the photo frames at a later point.

#4 Step 3 completed. I used two paper from STI_Joyous - the background I felt looks a little like a plate to match two of my photos and the other paper I used as mats for the photos.

Here is mine so far - hope that using a mask counts as altering a photo. I did also desaturate it.

I'm doing a page with pictures from the Bike Ferry on the bike route around Lake Champlain.

I changed the shapes of most of the pictures.

I duplicated my large photo and used a vivid light blending mode. My papers are both from Brandy Murry's Venue Collection: Dark Gray and SSDLA-8.

Step 4 is going to be interesting. I didn't leave myself too much room for embellishments. This is going to be a real challenge! ( or a real mess! )

Eek on repeating all 3! of my embellishments. OH NO.. I chose the embellishments and then came back to check, and I have to repeat each one! Challenge for sure but it's done!

Here is week 4 day 3. Is this too packed with pictures?

I love all the pictures. It gives a nice overall impression rather than focusing on just a couple. I might try this on the next page I make!

Okay, I want to try to do this with my new Bamboo Touch and Pen. Can't wait. You do know you are messing up my layout with the 'repeat 3X' don't you?
