Xana
I just noticed your template - same as mine...too funny! Love how you changed the photo placement. Not only did we pick the same template, we also picked almost the same solids for it! I used Boy Joy. Xana

Terri M
I got home from the hospital on Thursday but haven't been able to make time to work on week 2 yet. I have to spend a lot of time lying down with my leg higher than my heart and, believe me, it's hard to figure out how to work on a computer that way. Maybe I can get DH to make a sling and hang it from the bedroom ceiling...LOL. Well, I still hope to get it in this week. I'm enjoying following the conversation and seeing your pictures. AggieB
Glad you're home, Terri! I'm up to step 4: I used one of Amanda Soc's scalloped templates. There are 3 papers, but one is just a sliver.

I get the picture. Maybe your DH could do your layout for you by following your instructions. I get the feeling that it might end up being a bit like when you want to move the furntiture around! Florida granny
Eek! I don't know if I have room for journaling after adding all my embellishments, but will try moving things a bit. Happy weekend, everyone!

lorac
Terri, I'm so glad that you are home. Just take it easy and listen to the doctor. Love your idea about you leg hanging from the ceiling. There's not much room for journaling, but I think I have an idea. Need to work on it. KatieGrace
Wow, I really chose the wrong template for this challenge. There's a journaling box for each photo and that doesn't work well with lists. I'll just have to do my best to work around it.

LenaLotta
There were two hard things this time: a fastener and the journaling. There is a very small staple on one photo and I had to change the whole idea of the journaling Thea vid poolen

Xana
I just finished Step 5. Spent all day yesterday in Orlando at the Florida Watercolor Society's annual convention - wonderful demos, great buys, and fabulous art! Note that the staples were already on the template; in fact I lost some. My wheels are screwed down - my fastener. Terry, try reclining but not lying down and propping up your legs on pillows on each side of your monitor with the keyboard in your lap or right in front of the monitor. That should work. You may look like you just gave birth to the monitor, so dress appropriately :justthinkingabout it: Xana
englishrose
Oh dear - this is a real curve ball! I'd jumped the gun and already written some "purple prose" ( 3 mixed metaphors - urgh) Oh well - start again Hilary!
sanot
I wasn't sure if I was supposed to use all the other "things" that came with this template (like journal mat, staple, frames, etc) but everything is with the 1 patterned paper or the 2 solid papers, or left white. princessrunningfingers
We've been moving boxes out to our temporary home all day, but I finally found time to finish this and post it. I really am enjoying this as it is keeping me scrapping during this complicated move. Moose on Parade
AggieB
I'm counting on the 'catch-up' day - it's been a busy week. Not sure about the list journaling. I'll have to think about that one. Do frames count as embellishments?
Terri M
Xana, I am trying to picture that, and know for sure that no camera will appear in my room if I go that route! I managed to balance my laptop on a lap desk over my good leg for long enough to finish the week 2 project. Here it is
CRS
Aggie, Frames are definitely an embellishment! Joyce, I'm so glad you are taking some time to scrap right now. I know moving was hard for me; I can't imagine how hard it is for you. You've lived in your home much longer than I did! Terry, I'm so glad you are home and feeling better. I'm glad you got some time to scrap, too. Just don't over due it! You need that new knee! Sorry about the list journaling and the problems you are having everyone! I didn't see the list journaling coming! The gallery looks great! I'll be lsl tomorrow!
