Ugh -- totally slothed yesterday, but I am on my way to the dojo right now! :)

And, thanks to everyone for the food advice. Picked up some clean eating cookbooks and have been cooking up a storm! Broke the inertia and have lost 1 pound!!! Yippee -- only 9 to go! :dancingelephant:

Saturday done- 8 minutes on the elliptical and 52 minutes on the bike. I'm determined to master that elliptical! When we picked the girls up from the Kids Space (babysitting area at the gym), they didn't want to leave! I guess that's a good sign!

Tuesday done-30 minutes on the treadmill. Since running still bothers me, I increased the incline a bit for more of a workout. I wanted to go to the gym, but it's raining cats and dogs out there. Going to the bus stop was enough to make me change my mind and use my own treadmill in the basement!

Ugh, what a day! It started out ok, but the afternoon was so frustrating. It's been raining cats and dogs all day. For some reason, my son's old Camry doesn't like to work properly in the rain, so rather than take the risk of being stranded on the highway in the rain, asked for a ride to work. Grandson Dominik was in tow because no one was at home to watch him. I minor inconvenience, but no major problem. Well the highway (the only route really) was jammed. During the trip, he negotiated on the phone with his ex for Dominik to go to his mom's. When we finally arrive to his work, I go to drop Dominik off in the pouring rain to a place I've never been before. LOL - my 5 YO grandson is great at giving me directions from the back seat in case I forget the way!

So now I'm on the other extreme end of town, knowing that the highway is jammed on my way back too. I go home through town, only to find a road closed. I have to double back about 5 miles to the highway. Still jammed. A 30 minute trip ended up taking two hours!

However, I am blessed. I come home to find my daughter making dinner. That gives me time to walk on the treadmill for 40 minutes. Tuesday done!

Oh, Elisha -- good for you for not letting that stress stop you from exercising! :) This rain is a total motivation sucker! I heard this morning on the radio that there was some kind of issue on 81 South over your way. Is that what caused your travel issue?

I am just back from the dojo, so Tuesday is done for me.
