Could the switching of computers be the issue? Could that be confusing the boutique in any way? Grasping at ideas since I really don't have a clue.
I put some stuff in my cart today - we'll see whether it stays so I can help report...

I knew they wouldn't transfer from computer to computer. But I was testing it on both computers to see if it was an issue with me or the boutique.

Using Chrome (v 21.0.1180.89) didn't hold the items in my cart either.

I use Chrome (v21.0.1180.89) The items stayed in my basket on this computer yesterday, but not today. Strange. The other computer which uses the same version of Chrome won't keep things in the basket. I ran a test on both computers.

I don't know if it's makes a difference but both computers run Windows 7.

Like Valerie, I wondered if the OS makes any difference. Could there be a difference between XP, Vista, Windows 7? I use Firefox 15.0.1 on Windows 7 and haven't had any trouble (at least not yet lol)

Could it make a difference depending on where you add items from - either your wish list, category page or product page? Just a thought...

Items added from the category page and the product page both vanished. I also tested it when I was logged out, and when I was logged in.

I cant get items to stay in my cart for more than the day I add them.

I remember when I was using IE and Firefox, if I put an item in my cart with IE, it would not show up when I was using Firefox and vice versa.

I have my item still in the cart after 2 or 3 days, not logged in to my account. I use IE9

I have put in a ticket about the tabs issue, we noticed it last week with the freebies. So hopefully they will get that fixed pretty quick.

Now girls having issues with shopping cart, what browser and version are you using? I know i'm using Firefox and haven't ran into this issue, but it would be helpful if we found out it just seems to be 1 browser or if there's several having the issue.

I am having the shopping cart issue also and I use IE8.
Thanks Angie

Angie, I have Windows 7 Home Version and IE9 and my shopping bag clears also. I have just stopped putting things in it and am just using my Wish List. Speaking of Wish Lists, how do I get to mine short of opening a product and then linking to it. I can't find a link directly to my wish list nor can I find a Search function in the Boutique. It is very frustrating! BJinNM

I use Firefox (latest version) and my shopping cart still contained my items 2 days after I put them in there, but they are gone now (about a week after originally placing them in).

In the boutique, click on "My Account" at the top right of the page.
Your Wish List will be one of the tabs on the purple bar.

Hi BJ, it looks like April answered your question about getting to your wish list. For the search function, there is a search box on every boutique page. It's located towards the top of the page just to the right of the Home, Boutique, Blog, Forum, Learn How, and About Us tabs across the green bar. HTH

Could you all keep me posted on this issue? Is it still happening? The tech folks gave me what they thought was a solution, but I don't have a good way to test it. Items should be staying in your cart for 31 days, so if that is not happening please let me know.

Okay, now I see that when the Boutique page loads on my IE9 (Windows7) it is actually huge and VERY wide (we are talking huge here but with normal size print!) If I slide all the way over (a very long way), I find the Search box. Why in the world is it loading so wide? There is also approxiamately 6-8 inches of blank space scrolling downward too! EEK! BJ

That is an issue with IE9 we are trying to get fixed. If you use another browser you will find it will load properly

It seems to be working okay for me. Had some items in my cart and they stayed there for a few days.

I use Firefox 15 as I just upgraded from 12. I have some issues with Firefox like after being on the computer for a while, if I try to click on the Firefox icon nothing happens. But that's a problem with Firefox not SG.
