Forum Question

When I click on my user name at the top of the forum, the drop down box won't stay down long enough for me to click on any of the choices. It just appears and then disappears. Is this an issue with this site or an issue with my browser? I have other issues on here with my browser, but just work around them. However, two people have told me this week that my inbox is full, so I need to do something about it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you tried another browser, just to see if that is the problem?

Mine did that for awhile and then someone here told me to click the little blue broken icon up by the URL address...it's the compatibility view thing. Once I did that, then my list stays open for me to select what I want. (I am running IE9 on a PC with Win7 Ultimate.)

I used to have that trouble along with double posts when I used IE. I changed to Firefox and I haven't had the trouble since I changed. Jennifer also gave you a good idea to try. HTH

Thanks Jennifer, Aggie, and Theresa. I clicked on the broken icon and it worked! Aren't computers amazing? Then I went and deleted every message that I have every gotten on here from my inbox. I always have deletd them from the notifications. When you delete them from the inbox, does it also delete them from notifications?

I use Safari and as of yet, haven't had that issue - thank goodness! I hope you figure it out very soon!

I don't think it deletes the notification, but I could be wrong. Also, when you are in My Conversations, if you click on the conversation to open it, you have an option to e-mail a copy of it to yourself. That way, if you want to save a message but unclutter your inbox you can!

Thanks Dot. One of these days, I am going to learn my way around here!

I have the same problem and didn't know about the broken icon. Will check that out! Thanks for asking Karen!
