I am supposed to create a health brochure for one of my college classes. Is there any kind of template for a 3 sided brochure? If not, do you have any suggestions as to create this? I know there might be something in Microsoft Office, but I wanted to create it in Photoshop. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, someone else may have some ideas, I know there are a few graphic artists here. Can you save a word template to pdf & import that into photoshop for more editing?

This is a case where I'd probably go for MSOffice over Photoshop. In both Word and Publisher, click File, New; there are lots of templates to choose from, including many brochure styles. Publisher is akin to Adobe InDesign, Adobe's page layout program.

If you really want to use PS, I typically use guides to set up my boundaries and then print and fold like a tri-fold brochure. You can make guides by clicking (and holding the mouse button) on a ruler and dragging the blue guide to the appropriate place. If your rulers aren't showing, you can find them under the view menu. There is also an option under the view menu for "new guide" where you can type in a more precise number if you want. HTH

I think I would design it myself in PS as well. There is plenty of inspiration on the web for what 3 page brochures can look like so once you've chosen what you like I would lay out the masks for the pictures and then add text boxes.

Just been thinking a bit more. Does Powerpoint have templates? If so you can save Powerpoint slides as jpg and could then open them in PS.

There are actually a lot of templates available online. Most of them are either from graphic designers or online printing services provider.

This is a neat topic. I have alwasy used a desktop publishing program for this type of thing, but it could be done in PS. Monica's suggestion about using the guides would be how I'd do it in PS.
