Just started scrapping and purchased the "scrap simple embellishment template:blendabilty"

Can someone please explain to a rooky how it works

Ekke, these are very cool to use. You bring them into the layout, and place them on the layer BENEATH the photo or paper of interest. Then you CLIP the photo to the blendability layer. Some similar templates are in Gray, rather than black. Then you can use a blending mode (overlay, screen, etc.) as well, but you should need it for black/transparent templates.

If you let us know what software you're using, we can help with instructions on how to clip the photo to it.

By the way, welcome to the message board. I hope you'll introduce yourself in the Meet & Greet forum. We're glad you're here.

Hi Belle,

Thanks for the welcoming wishes

Yes, we stay in JHB (Randpark Ridge)
My husband and I are retired, although he works in a plant nursery
which suits us fine

We are both "plant crazy" and my main hobby is gardening
although there are also other things that make my days too short
like trying to get to grips with this I.T. stuff !!!!!!

We are soooo jealous of you lucky people who stay in such
magnificent beauty

I'm so sorry that I did not know this. I just spent a week in Centurion and we could have met some place. Oh well, next time. If you ever come to Cape Town, we must get together. I will send you my e-mail address via PM.
