JenniferZ Posted November 7, 2012 Share Posted November 7, 2012 No need to convert them...PNG files just preserve any transparency that may be present. If your BG's have tears or curled edges or things that will reveal a layer beneath, you need to keep them as PNGs or else the transparent part will be black or white if saved as a JPG.
