Hi everyone,

didn't know where to post this question so i put it up here
I have got a lot of background papers but they are in png is that okay or should i convert them to jpeg to be able to work with them, thanks for the replies

No need to convert them...PNG files just preserve any transparency that may be present. If your BG's have tears or curled edges or things that will reveal a layer beneath, you need to keep them as PNGs or else the transparent part will be black or white if saved as a JPG.
