I am greatly in need of more space on my EHD. I save my previous layouts in psd and jpeg. Can I safely convert the psd to tif and save like that? The tif files seem much smaller? I'm using LZW compression and zip. OR is this a false economy? Advice appreciated!

TIA candyK

I've been saving layouts as tifs for several years and haven't run into any problems yet.

From what I read there are some PS things that won't be saved in a tiff, but I haven't had any trouble saving things as tiff files.

My Gallery I scrap with Photoshop CS6, but can help with older versions: PS7, CS2 & CS4. Posted Image
