Premature Grandson

Today was a very frightening day. Our daughter-in-law underwent an emergency caesarian to deliver her 24 week old son. He is so small, so fragile. We won't know for a while what his prognosis will be. We are hopeful of the best for him and we could use a few prayers at this time. Thank you.

Update: our little boy Max - although very courageous, overcoming many, many medical obstacles (resulting in everyone knowing him as "Miracle Max"), developed hydrocephalus as a result of his emergency birth. Today the respiratory aids were removed and he passed away in the arms of his mother. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.

Oh, how scary. We have a friend here who just had a seizure and emergency c-section last week, delivered a 1 lb, 8oz boy at 29 weeks, so I can't imagine how tiny your grandson must be. I will pray for him and his family when I pray for my friend Sara and her son, Peter.
