Attached is a picture of something i made for my sister for Christmas. It is their family's hands, outlined and doodled onto newsprint (that has been mod-podged first). My intention was to incorporate the word family somehow but obviously that's not going to happen on the artwork. Maybe a separate project. Anyways, just thought I'd share. It took me longer than I expected, but it was a fun and relaxing project (and I prayed over each person as I doodled their hands). Hope it doesn't go down as one of those horrendous gifts - haha! They just finished an addition with a huge new kitchen, yellow walls so hopefully it will look good in there.

I love it Dianne! I love how you used the family's hands and your doodling is wonderful. I think it's a treasure and I'm sure your sister and family will love it!

It's wonderful, Dianne! The doodles are so neat & I like the freeform look to the border. What a great idea and I like the idea of praying for each handprint's owner).

I had to tell you, Dianne, that after I saw this last night, I couldn't sleep and I was sitting here doodling........ :disappearing-smilie: My doodling didn't look anywhere near as great as yours looked but you inspired me and it was fun! :)

This is wonderful and I'm sure that your sister will love it. You are so talented, I'd never be able to do something like that and make the hands look human.

Diane this is so creative and beautiful and what a special gift for your sister and her family. I can imagine it still hanging in years to come and everyone measuring their hands then and now. Wow, this it really super and you did a gorgeus job, too.
