Welcome to Scrap Girls!! Here is some information about our challenges and chats. We have a new challenge 6 days a week. There is no time limit on when a challenge layout needs to be posted by unless it is for a special event. The time frame will be posted in the thread if that's the case. A different member of the Welcoming Committee will post the challenge each day, and below you can find the schedule of each challenge:

Monday and Thursday- a Random Challenge
Tuesday - A Freebie Challenge from the Newsletter or Freebie section of the Boutique
Wednesday - High Noon Crop and Challenge (every Noon, eastern time zone on Wednesdays)
Friday - A Customer Submitted Challenge (send in your challenge and if chosen, win a prize)
Saturday- A Color Challenge
Sunday - nothing is posted...it's catch up day!

We would love to see your layouts using Scrap Girls supplies, but you are welcome to post your layouts using whatever supplies you have. We just ask that you credit the designer (no links or store names). Each challenge will give a link to where you can post your layouts. Most challenges go in the General Message Board Gallery, but High Noon Crop and Challenge and the Color Challenge have their own galleries.

Chats are so much fun! They are about an hour long in the chat room. Just click on the Chat in the green bar at the top of the page. The hostess will be a member of the team and will usually type in some shade of red. The New Member Chat is a great place to learn about the site. All of our chats are listed in the newsletter and on the calendar (found in the green bar at the top of the page). Again, there is no time limit for posting a layout unless it's for an event...and then the deadline will be posted in the thread. We like to show how to use a product from the boutique in the chat, but the rest of the time, it's a great place for asking questions and meeting new people!

You can find all the Challenges and Chats in the Fun and Games Forum. Make sure to sign up for the Newsletter on our homepage (top right corner)! We have monthly games, layout contests and lots of fun! Oh, and check out our Blog for freebies, contests and tutorials, too!

I wish there were more chats, although in the past I couldn't make all of them, or stay for the entire time. It was just nice to have some time to visit with other members.

Now, now, Monica, we all know that you wake up beautifully presentable and well coiffed, so no worries! It's ME who would have to block the camera - seems I'm always in pajamas!

YIKES!! Not sure if I would want VIDEO!! While I'd like to see all of you, not sure I want all of you to see all of me! But it would be fun if it had an "opt out" feature!
