To close out the month of December's look at Principles of Design, I chose to focus on Directional Movement.
Movement is the path the viewer’s eye takes through the artwork, often to focal areas. Such movement can be directed along lines edges, shape and color within the artwork. (From 4-H Curriculum.org)
As you design your layout for this challenge, think about leading the eye across your page. There are a variety of ways to do it - with placement of elements, colors or shapes, or elements that actually have movement to themselves like swirls or arrows.
Post your layouts in the General Message Board gallery.
Here's mine: Just Beachy
I attempted to convey movement from the top of the page to the bottom, a pretty usual progression, but don't hesitate to think outside the box and show movement in and around your layouts. Have fun!

You've done such a great job with the design challenges, Pat! I haven't participated but have enjoyed them so much. I might try to catch up anyway!
