Pab
Does anyone know how to darken the color of text in PSE11? It doesn't pop up with what I am use to from 9. I can pick a premade color but don't know how to darken or pick from something on the LO. Thanks...
teecee
Hmmm, Patsy, did you try this: Select the text you want to change the color of Click on the foreground color chip in the tools palette (The color picker will pop up and when you hover over your layout, the cursor will change to the eyedropper tool) Click on the color you want from your layout Click OK in the color picker Click the green check mark to commit Your text should change to the color you chose from your layout Does this help? Pab
That's what I ended up doing. But I thought that there was a way to just darken a color of text you may have already picked without going that route. Maybe I am getting mixed up.... cats4jan
Sometimes duplicating the layer, will add some deepening of color. Or what about an adjustment layer? Another suggestion - I find 'fattening' the text makes it stand out better. Duplicate the layer and then move one layer over one pixel. To move your layer one pixel at a time, use the arrow keys. Pab
I had gotten so busy I forgot I posted this. Thanks for the ideas.... I'm thinking I may have been getting my Creative Memories Storybook Creator Software mixed up with my PSE. It has a slider bar to just darken whatever color you have already chosen for your text.
