i see that canon now has a new full frame sensor camera the 6D for a lot less than the 5D mark 111

does anyone know how it compares? or the stats...

also i posted here but i thought there was a photography forum...i couldnt find it...is there one?

There is a great Canon forum http://photography-on-the.net/forum/ that will allow you to read on both cameras. From what I understand, they are pretty much the same camera, with the exception the 5DIII has more auto-focus points and fast FPS (frames per second). For the most part, the 6D is aimed toward hobbyist and those who just appreciate a great camera and fantastic pictures. I use the 5D II and I gather these cameras are pretty close in Image Quality - which is fantastic. I would safely say the 6D would meet the needs of most of us on this forum.
