I Feel Like A Pretty Lousy Scrappin' Mom Right Now.

Sucker punch to the gut.
I've done dozens and dozens of layouts of her little life, but I haven't compiled layouts and had them printed in a book for her yet. Her brothers each have 2 books bound and printed since I started digi-scrapping in 2007 and several others paper-style from before I switched to digi. But I haven't had layouts printed and books made since Molly was born. I feel like the biggest jerk!
I had to put Molly promptly on my lap and scroll through loads of digi layouts I've done that feature her little life. She was thrilled and I PROMISED her an actual scrapbook of her layouts for her birthday in April. I better get to work!!! I really need to get better organized about completing, compiling and printing books for my kids!

I love this idea. As an interim solution can you get a little book printed, one that she can easily carry and show off. That may give you time to work on a 'proper' book with lower guilt.
I understand the feeling; for my daughter's second Christmas we gave photo books of her first year to the grandmothers, so I knew I had to do the same for my son's first year, but oh the stress and worry getting it finished it time. I have barely started their baby books and the only scrap book I've had printed was for my father in law's 60th birthday.
However, I use my layouts as my screen saver so my daughter sees them frequently and often comments on the ones about her (my son is too young to notice). I installed Goat 1000 - JPEG Saver screen saver this week, it adds into the Windows screen saver (I'm using XP, I don't know about any other version ) and allows you to select several picture folders. I have my layouts in a folder for each year or project so this enables me to show them all.

Good luck in printing and keep in mind all the close times you've had that MADE those scrapbook pages possible....

I can't see how it works, but the finished product looks great. My daughter would love it and it would make great gifts. I've added that to my wishlist.

I've made that accordion album and it's so quick and easy! And fun, too!
