Thank you. She was a fabulous example of a life well lived, and a great role model. They really understood what was truly valuable - my uncle could have been promoted (in the Forest Service) if he had moved, but they chose to stay in their little piece of paradise and be content with less money. They avoided debt, and "used the good stuff" every day. My aunt survived a house fire when she was 7, the Great Depression, sending her husband off to combat while pregnant, not hearing from him for months at a time, dealing with his severe PTSD when he returned, and the usual mix of family and health challenges, but she kept her amazing sense of humor, and could light up the room almost till the very end.
