Good Morning,
I'm very new to Elements - I'm a Paint Shop Pro user. I installed the brushes and patterns that came with Ultimate Artist. However, when I run the action (I'm following along with Brandy's video and am stuck on the first one, a black and white sketch), the pattern that runs with the action is one with blue bubbles, not the one shown on Brandy's video. I've checked multiple times to make sure the pattern file is installed and it is. I can find the brushes that come with Ultimate Artist just fine. How do I get the right pattern to work with the action?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't know if this will help or not but it's worth a try. Make sure the blending mode in the options bar is set to normal. I love this action, but it won't work for me at all unless I make sure that the blending mode is on normal. HTH.

Hello Barb,
Thanks for the details on what is happening, that helps me understand the problem. The blue bubbles showing up tells me that the patterns are not installed correctly. I find it best to install them via the preset manager. In Photoshop or PSE goto Edit (at the top of your screen) and choose "Preset Manager". Use the drop-down box to select "Patterns" then click on the "Load" button and navigate to where you saved the Ultimate Artist Patterns on your computer. Now try again and see if that helps. I hope it does! Let us know.
Good luck!

Glad you got it working, that's one of my favorite action sets.
