Please join me in praying for Australia its like the whole country is burning, the fires are so destructive
I pray that our Australian friends are not near the fires. I have a nephew in Eucha, Victoria and at the moment they are ok. They need some rain and the temps are up to 50C in some parts (its 40C where my nephew lives)

You all have had fires going on for a year, haven't you? There's a lot of drought in the USA in area, too. I hope things improve and everyone stays safe. I've been watching the news about it. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Yikes, I grew up in a fire prone area - evacuated several times - it can be so scary, Praying you get some moisture.

I've been thinking of our Australian friends ever since I first saw the images on the news. It's very scary, I will continue to keep them in my thoughts.

There are no fires in my State... but we badly need rain as it is so very hot and dry.

Thankyou for the prayers for those who have been affected. Fire is such a destructive thing.

P.S. to this... just looked up on the internet and there is one fire burning over on Bribie Island which is in my State but is not a major one. My State is on fire alert as the fires down south may spread north.

Thanks everyone. This is fire season as the temperatures can get very hot. Our firefighters are amongst the best in the world but they too get tired after fighting so many fires so I send my prayers out to them too. We live in the state of victoria where we have had some severe fires and there are some burning there now but we ourselves are not near the fires although after a few days you can smell the smoke and see the haze.
I checked on our designer Jaqui Smith as she lives near Brisbane but thankfully she is ok.
Please continue to keep Australia in your thoughts as we are not nearly over it all yet as temperatures are set to soar again over the coming weekendThanks everybody and thank you Jane for thinking of us and starting this thread.

Sending prayers down under. I have been watching on the news and I believe they said last night the temp was as high as it have ever been. This is so scary. Not looking forward to summer here.

We've been praying too Jane as we have friends in Tasmania & in some of the other areas where the fires are... it's so hot... we need rain
