Hi all,

This is my very first post, so I hope I'm posting in the correct forum!! I just picked up Brandy's Ultimate Artist action set and ABSOLUTELY love it!! Is there ever a fun action to create with.

However, I'm having issues with three of the six Styles. The Watercolor Light, Texture 1 and Contrast styles seem to break up my photo into sections, and isn't applying the style evenly across the photo. The other 3 styles seem to work just fine.

I'm using PSE11 with Windows 7. I've tried reloading the styles, but that didn't help.

I've attached photos, one using the soften action which works fine and one using watercolor light.

Thanks for your help!

It's been a while since I used that action, but if I remember correctly some styles are designed to be used on a certain size photo, eg 6x4. That maybe what's happening here.

By the way, welcome to Scrap Girls.

Thanks for your quick reply Valerie!

That would explain it, then. If there were a particular style that I liked for a photo then, I guess I could resize my photo to match that of the style and then apply it. I'll give that a try.

Thanks, Sara

Sara, what Valarie said is true, there are a few that are designed for 12x12 and are not seamless. Let me know if you still run into trouble. I just loaded them in PSE11 and I didn't have any seams showing, but I was using a 12x12 layout. If you go past that size, you will have some seams.

Oh and PS, I am glad you like the action. Your art is gorgeous!

Thanks Brandy for your kind words about my artwork!

I'll try this again when I have some time later today, but I did copy the photo onto a 12X12 layout. I'll let you know if I still have problems.

Hi Brandy, I got it to work!

I flattened the image to a new 12X12 layout first and then ran the styles. They all work without issue.

Thanks again for your amazing gifts which enable me to create my artwork! I really love how it turned out.

Sara
