I have done an edit on picture of my son and his family. Their 9 year old son had chapped lips and looks like he has lipstick on. I tried using clone brush and did some layer mode changes but his lips are still too pink. Any ideas or suggestions?

You could do a selection of the area and reduce the saturation with the hue/saturation tool

I would try what Elisha suggests and if that helps at all.

Well, that was a slap my forehead, "of course", moment. Thanks so much. Worked perfectly, of course.
