Can Photoshop Elements be installed to and operated from an external hard drive?

It's my understanding that it won't work from an EHD but my information might be outdated. Hopefully, one of our computer gurus will be along to give you an more definitive answer.

My understanding is that there might be problems. So I wouldn't do it, like the article states.

I would keep the program installed on your computer's hard drive. But it's okay to store all your supplies (papers, embellishments, templates, etc) on the EHD.

I agree with Tiza I would keep my supplies on the EHD and the actual Photoshop on my computer.
