Hooray, I graduated. My marriage ended badly and I had too much time on my hands to sit and wallow in my misery. So I took myself to college to learn medical billing and coding. It was an accelerated class of one year and was lots harder than I thought it would be. Especially since it's been over 30 years since I was in school. But I persevered and made it. Now please pray that I can get a job. I'm 63 and I think that's a strike against me. But I can bring lots of good qualities to the table. So I just hope employers can recognize that and give me a chance. Thanks

Congrats Karen! Sounds like you have had a rough year, but hopefully you will have a job before you know it.
Our DD is in Medical Assisting and she was doing a coding class...she said it was hard but made an 'A'. Hope all goes well for you and keep us posted.
