I know there are a few ladies near here - anybody feel like trying to make a meetup nearby? Would love to meet up & visit but can't really afford a lot of travel right now. Anybody?

Oh, if only I were closer! I'd love to meet you, Jenna! We've been SG friends for so long I feel as if I already know you but would love to meet in person! Maybe one of these days I can talk Rich into going back to San Antonio to see his old stomping grounds when he was in AF school there! I hear about the River Walk all the time!

I live in Midlothian which is just south of Dallas. I, too can't afford much travel. My oldest DD and I are going on a trip of lifetime in May so have to save my pennies for that. I love San Antonio and it has been years since I've been. Hope to visit there again someday....

I just saw this thread - and I am in the DFW area (Arlington) - and I would love to have a Texas (or Southwest US) meet-up. San Antonio is always a good idea - but I'm flexible. As long as it's drive-able, it's usually cheaper than flying.

I see this thread is a few months old, so is there any interest in getting a ball rolling toward sometime in the fall?
