Digital Paper Question

Recommended Posts

I am new to digital scrapbook and Photoshop Elements. I am learning on my own through youtube and 1 e-book (very limited resources). I have learned how to design (3) different style papers and now I am hooked lol!!!!

I have some questions regarding the digital paper pack display for (sale). I really don't know what to call it but I think I can describe it.

How do you create the digital paper pack (multiple papers) with a band (like a ribbon or something) and tagged with your shop name like you see on etsy.

I really want to sale my creations I just know where to start. I have tried to research the forum but I think I am overlooking it because I don't what it is called. Can someone guide in the right direction?

P.S. Can I attach a photo of what I am talking about from a google image? Did not know if I could do this

Thanks,

Nikki

Nikki, welcome to Scrap Girls. I applaud your ambitious plan to sell digital papers on Etsy. I think you're going to want to immerse yourself in digital techniques for a while to get ready. Once you've created many layouts, and experimented a LOT, you'll find that making the marketing/display image is a snap. Scrap Girls has many free tutorials in our newsletter, blog and university.

Be sure to read up on Terms of Use (TOU.) For any product you purchase that you'll use to create products for sale, you'll need to purchase Commercial Licenses. Some other sites have different TOUs. For Scrap Girls, click the link near the top right of any forum page that says Terms of Use.

Again, welcome to Scrap Girls. I look forward to seeing your layouts in the gallery.

Thank you, Barbara.

I want to make sure I‘m understanding everything:

Let say, I want to sell a nine pack of multi color chevron digital paper pack.

And I buy a grey chevron template that I can change the color and resale. I need to make sure the TOU is commercial use only, right?

Or do design my own templates and set my own TOU terms, would that be better?

If you design the template yourself, you're free and clear. If you buy a grey (scrapsimple) template here, and recolor it to sell, then you should buy commercial use products, yes.

Mea culpa, I pointed you to the forum TOUs. Here's the link to the Boutique TOUs. It explains the standard and commercial use licenses better than I can.

Meantime, it's fun to learn, and there's SO much to learn! Again, welcome!
